Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to consulting fees paid to Magnolia Core Consulting for operational process reviews and related services. It supplements the terms in your engagement letter or invoice.

General principles

Consulting services involve reserved consultant time and preparatory work. Refund eligibility depends on how much work has been completed when you cancel or dispute delivery.

Deposit and cancellation before work begins

More than 14 days before scheduled kick-off: Full refund of deposit minus NT$2,000 administrative fee, or transfer of deposit to a rescheduled date within 90 days.

7–14 days before kick-off: 50% of deposit refunded, or 75% credited toward rescheduling within 60 days.

Less than 7 days before kick-off: Deposit is non-refundable. Up to 50% may be credited toward rescheduling within 30 days at our discretion.

Cancellation after work has started

Once on-site observation or facilitated workshops have begun, fees for completed days are non-refundable. Remaining scheduled days may be cancelled with 48 hours written notice; unused days refunded at 70% of the daily rate specified in your invoice.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 7 days before the original start date. Additional reschedules incur NT$3,000 per change to cover planning costs. Rescheduled dates must fall within 90 days of the original booking unless otherwise agreed.

No-shows and access failures

If our consultants arrive on site and cannot access premises or key staff without prior notice, the day is charged in full. If we fail to attend a confirmed date without notice, you receive a full credit for that day or a refund at your choice.

Deliverable disputes

If you believe a final report does not match the agreed scope, notify us in writing within 10 business days of delivery. We will review factual errors at no charge and issue corrections. Disagreement with recommendations themselves is not grounds for refund if agreed deliverables were provided.

Partial refunds for deliverable disputes are considered only where material scope items documented in the engagement letter were not delivered.

Non-refundable items

The following are not refundable once incurred:

• Travel expenses already booked (transport, accommodation)
• Third-party document translation commissioned for your project
• Rush delivery surcharges after work has commenced
• Days where on-site observation was completed

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of written approval. Bank transfer refunds may require you to confirm account details. Currency is New Taiwan Dollars.

Deposits and work already started

If you cancel after draft findings are shared, the deposit and all fees for completed on-site days are retained. Any prepaid amount for undelivered final report work is refunded minus costs already incurred.

No-shows for follow-up calls

Missed follow-up calls without 24 hours notice may be forfeited. One replacement call can be scheduled within 30 days if requested promptly.

How to request a refund or cancellation

Email info@toolkitmagnoliacore.click with your invoice number, engagement dates, and reason for the request. We acknowledge within 2 business days and provide a written decision within 10 business days.

Exceptions

Force majeure events (natural disasters, government orders preventing travel) are handled case by case with priority given to rescheduling rather than cancellation.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a revised version on the Site. Active engagements remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of deposit payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
